Today is the one year anniversary of First Comes Love couple Monica and Larry! We LOVED, LOVED, LOVED working with them on their bright, rock and roll wedding – which featured a Tiffany blue and burgundy color scheme. Their wedding day started at the Hard Rock Hotel in downtown San Diego followed by a morning ceremony at Point Loma’s Admiral Kidd Club (check out Larry in his dress blues!)
At the end of the ceremony the couple exiting through a sword detail and then treated their guests to a lunchtime reception complete with a taco station, photo booth and lots of other fun treats. But the fun didn’t stop there! After the reception, they headed downtown for an after party (one that people are still talking about!)
A very happy anniversary to Monica and Larry!!!

Courtney and Mark are such a fun couple. They met walking down the street in the midwest. Courtney made the first move when she asked Mark what he was up to that night. They got together for a drink and a few years later, tied the knot in an intimate celebration at Estancia La Jolla.
The wedding was quite interesting to say the least. It turns out that President Bill Clinton, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton were all staying at Estancia during the wedding, which meant from a planning perspective, we had to modify everything we did for set-up (and got pat downs throughout the day).
For the theme of the wedding, we played off one of the bride’s favorite things – lemons. From incorporating them into the centerpieces to using the bright hue for the bridesmaids’ dresses, the wedding was cheery from beginning to end. The ceremony took place on the Garden Courtyard and was performed by Bethel. The couple included some very cool ceremonies – a wine box and hand fasting (email me if you want to know more about these). Check out some of our favorite photos from the wedding.
